Terms & Conditions of Sale

Orders

By placing an order with Oak Guys, you confirm that all information, dimensions and specifications provided are accurate.

Once production has commenced, orders cannot normally be amended or cancelled.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Product Manufacture

Unless otherwise stated, Oak Guys products are manufactured specifically after an order is placed.

Products are produced using the dimensions, specifications and options selected by the customer during the ordering process.

Customer Responsibility for Measurements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all dimensions, specifications and options entered during the ordering process are correct.

Products are manufactured using the information supplied at the time the order is placed.

Please check all measurements carefully before submitting your order, as we are unable to remake, exchange or refund products where incorrect dimensions or specifications have been provided by the customer.

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.

Natural Timber Characteristics

Solid timber is a natural material and every piece is unique.

Variations in grain, colour, knots, medullary rays, character markings, live edges and texture are natural features and should be expected.

As timber acclimatises to its environment, it may naturally expand, contract, move slightly, develop small surface checks or change colour over time due to changes in temperature, humidity and exposure to sunlight.

These natural characteristics are not regarded as manufacturing defects.

Product Images

We make every effort to accurately represent our products through photographs and descriptions.

Where a listing specifically states that the photographs show the exact item being purchased, you will receive that individual product.

For standard manufactured products, timber colour, grain pattern and natural character will vary from piece to piece.

Delivery & Inspection

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your goods arrive damaged, incomplete or you believe they have been supplied incorrectly, please notify Oak Guys as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, providing photographs where appropriate.

Prompt notification helps us investigate and resolve any issues efficiently.

Order Cancellation

Oak Guys reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where necessary, including but not limited to:

  • Pricing errors.

  • Product availability.

  • Suspected fraudulent activity.

  • Errors contained within an order.

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where an order is cancelled before manufacture has commenced, any payment received will be refunded in full.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights available to consumers under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Subject to those statutory rights, Oak Guys shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the installation, storage, maintenance or use of its products.

Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended application and are installed, stored and maintained correctly.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
