Our solid oak fireplace beams are made to order in our workshop using sustainably sourced European oak. Each beam is carefully machined, hand-finished, and allowed to show the natural character of the timber — subtle grain variation, knots, and colour tones that make every piece unique.

Designed to work in both modern and traditional settings, these beams are available in two clean, well-proportioned profiles and cut to your chosen length. The result is a fireplace feature that feels substantial, honest, and built to last.

No veneers. No hollow cores. Just properly made solid oak.

FAQs

Are your oak fireplace beams solid?

Yes. All of our fireplace beams are made from solid oak — not hollow, veneered, or wrapped. This gives the beam proper weight, durability, and a more authentic appearance.

Will a solid oak beam crack over time?

Oak is a natural material and may develop small splits or movement as it acclimatises to your home. This is normal and part of the character of real oak. We use air-dried timber for our mantle beams.

Do the beams come pre-finished?

Beams are supplied wax oiled as standard from our choice of colours, This helps protect the timber while highlighting the natural grain.

Do you offer custom sizes?

Yes, most of our products have either a built in calculator so you can purchase the exact size you need or for finished products we have menu sizing to choose from.

What are your dispatch times?

We aim to dispatch our boards and shelving within 7 - 10 days but in busy periods this can be up to 2 weeks, if you have any questions please contact us.

Where do you source your timber?

We source our timber from responsibly managed forests in France and across Europe, prioritising sustainability, quality, and long-term forest management.
