Handmade to order from solid French oak in two thicknesses.

These are handpicked from solid slabs and made in our workshop to order, each chopping board will have it's own character and shape and each one is different making them really special.

French oak is known for its tight dense grain and character features.

• Chopping boards come with rubber feet and we apply a coat of board butter before dispatching - you can add a kit of the Old Mans Board Butter as an extra which contains 1x tin and and a microcloth applicator
• May contain joins depending on size selected and stock levels
• Due to being a natural product these boards may contain knots and small splits which are skillfully filled in house

Made locally with 100% natural beeswax and food safe mineral oils, great for preserving and keeping your board looking new and comes in a aluminum tin.

Character

As a natural product, your oak board might show some knots, splits, or other imperfections—that’s part of what makes it special. Larger boards may also experience some cupping, which is totally normal. Just keep it dry and treat it with a bit of board butter every now and then to keep it looking great.

Made in small batches, these boards are built to be used – for chopping, serving, or just sitting proud on your countertop.

Care

To keep your board looking its best, follow these simple tips:

• Keep it dry and wipe it down with a cloth after use.
  
• Never put it in the dishwasher.
  
• Occasionally treat it with food-safe oil or board butter to keep the wood nourished
