Solid European Oak - 30mm Thick - Made in Our Workshop
Our solid oak desktops are made from carefully selected kiln-dried European oak and machined to a finished 30mm thickness in our workshop. Each solid oak desktop is cut, sanded and prepared by hand to create a strong, durable surface designed for everyday use.
The natural grain and colour variation of oak give every piece its own unique character, meaning no two desk tops are exactly the same, This desktop is made using full-length solid oak staves, creating a cleaner look with a more continuous grain pattern across the top.
Our solid oak desk tops provide a durable, natural surface for home offices, standing desk frames and custom workspaces.
They are also ideal for replacing laminate or MDF desk surfaces with a solid hardwood worktop.

Can I use this oak desk top with a standing desk frame?
Yes. Our solid oak desk tops work well with most electric and manual standing desk frames. The 30mm thickness provides a strong and stable surface, and oak holds screws securely when attaching frames or accessories.
Will the oak desk top move or warp?
Because the timber is kiln-dried before machining, it is suitable for indoor furniture and work surfaces. Like all solid wood, oak can move slightly with seasonal humidity changes, but proper drying and machining help keep this movement minimal.
Is a 30mm oak desk top strong enough?
Yes. A 30mm thick solid oak desk top provides excellent strength and rigidity, making it ideal for supporting monitors, laptops and other office equipment. Solid oak is a dense hardwood that performs very well as a desk surface.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes, most of our products have either a built in calculator so you can purchase the exact size you need or have menu sizing to choose from.
What are your dispatch times?
We aim to dispatch our boards and shelving within 7 - 10 days but in busy periods this can be up to 2 weeks, if you have any questions please contact us.
