Handmade in our Dorset workshop, this 30mm solid oak floating shelf is finished in our darker oil tone for a richer, more architectural look.

The darker finish deepens the grain contrast while maintaining the natural character of the oak.

Natural vs Dark Oak Finish

We offer two oil finishes:

Natural Warm Oak – Enhances golden tones while keeping a light, modern appearance.

Dark Oak Finish – Deepens grain contrast and adds warmth and richness.

Both are finished with hardwax oil for durability and easy maintenance.


Floating Shelf Installation & Fixings

Each oak floating shelf is supplied with concealed heavy-duty bracket fixings, allowing the shelf to appear fully floating once installed.

When fixed securely into masonry or structural studs, the supplied brackets provide strong support while maintaining a clean, architectural finish.

Are these floating shelves made from solid oak?

Yes. Every shelf is made from solid kiln-dried oak. We do not use veneer, laminate or MDF cores.

What finish is applied?

Each shelf is finished in a durable hardwax oil. We offer two options: Natural Finish – enhances the golden tone of the oak & Dark Oak Finish – deepens the grain and adds warmth Both finishes protect the surface while maintaining a natural feel.

Do the shelves come with fixings?

Yes. Each shelf is supplied with concealed heavy-duty floating brackets designed to create a true floating appearance once installed.

Do you offer custom sizes?

Yes, most of our products have either a built in calculator so you can purchase the exact size you need or have menu sizing to choose from.

What are your dispatch times?

We aim to dispatch our boards and shelving within 7 - 10 days but in busy periods this can be up to 2 weeks, if you have any questions please contact us.

Where do you source your timber?

We source our timber from responsibly managed forests in France and across Europe, prioritising sustainability, quality, and long-term forest management.
