Each slab is professionally kiln-dried before being machine planed and sanded in our Dorset workshop. The natural live edge is then carefully shaped, refined and hand sanded to create a smooth, tactile finish, while natural splits and defects are professionally repaired where required.

Every order is carefully selected to match the size and specification you've chosen. As solid European oak is a natural material, every slab remains completely unique, showcasing its own grain pattern, colour variation and natural character.

As every slab is crafted from natural solid oak, grain pattern, colour and natural features will vary, making every piece completely unique.

Depending on the size and specification selected, your Signature Series slab may be produced from either a single piece of European oak or crafted from carefully selected and matched European oak to achieve the required dimensions.

Where required, premium European oak is carefully selected before being precision jointed in our Dorset workshop. This allows us to create larger slab sizes while maintaining the natural beauty, strength and character of solid timber.

Every joint is accurately machined and professionally bonded to produce a strong, durable and long-lasting slab that's built for everyday use. Once assembled, each Signature Series slab receives additional workshop detailing before leaving us.

Every Signature Series slab is crafted from genuine European oak, meaning no two pieces are ever the same. Variations in colour, grain and natural features are all part of the beauty and individuality of solid timber.

Depending on the slab selected, you may see natural characteristics such as knots, grain variation, medullary rays, heartwood, sapwood and natural splits. These are not faults or defects but are the unique features that give every slab its individual character.

Our current lead time is displayed on the product page before purchase. As every order is prepared to your chosen specification, dispatch times may vary during busy periods.

UK Delivery

Free UK mainland delivery is included on most slab sizes.

Slabs weighing over 25kg require our Heavy & Oversize Delivery service. A £49 delivery charge will be automatically applied at checkout where applicable.

You're also welcome to collect your order from our Dorset workshop by appointment. We'll contact you as soon as your slab is ready to arrange a convenient collection time.
